Our classrooms are divided in two groups: Los Delfines (The Dolphins): Ages 2-3 and Los Caballitos Del Mar (The Sea Horses): Ages 4-5.
Creative Curriculum
Creative Curriculum is a well known educational program for children ages infants through school age students. It enables us as educators to effectively teach and asses our children to get them ready for the next milestone they reach. By using the creative curriculum, it will help our teachers focus on what matters most for our children's success and to achieve each goal/skill within their age group. Yet, to better help our children achieve these goals within their age group, we will be implementing the 1-2-3 Learn Curriculum along with the Creative Curriculum! We believe by using and implementing both of these curriculums into our program, it's going to show and promote a great impact in your children's academic learning!!
1-2-3 Learn Curriculum
1-2-3 Learn Curriculum was developed by a child care provider of 29 years, and has been used across the United States and around the world! By implementing and using the 1-2-3 Learn Curriculum in our bilingual child development center, we strive to teach our children well and prepare them for Kindergarten in two languages English and Spanish! Our friends will learn their ABC's, numbers 1-60, shapes, colors, and basic words in both languages! However, when our friends get to preschool or "Los Caballitos del Mar" they will learn how to decode words and begin reading simple books only in English. We believe our children are capable of reading in two languages at the same time but we want for our beginning readers to feel confident and strive when they reach to this stage!
